It was one of the most admired bikes exhibited among thousands at last weekend’s 2016 Born Free Show, a 2-day event in the small town of Silverado, CA with an attendance of 10,000 coming to admire the work of some of the country’s best custom builders, fabricators and artists of the motorcycle industry. Built by Matt Walksler from Wheels Through Time, it’s a period modified 1928 Harley-Davidson JDH-XR. Nobody can explain better his bike and the mods he performed than Matt himself. Watch the video.

Wonderful.
How beautiful. This guy knows his shit.
SWEET RIDE !!!!
Falling in love with this “period modified”
Matt Walksler didn’t fall far from the tree. His father (Wheels Through Time Museum) is the best teacher for working on vintage and classic bikes
Top bike. Great video
Respect.
now this is why I love motorcycling…
Gave me chills. Stellar in every way.
JUST COOL!!!!
Sweeeeeeet! If you have not visited the museum put it on the bucket list. peace
Very nice piece, love the whole platform. Nice to see some vintage and not a big wheel piece of crap.
I have met Matt at the museum and what you see is what you get. He spent the better part of the day showing me around and was truly interested in what I was building. His dad is a wealth of knowledge too but not nearly as personable. Nice build Matt thanks for sharing.
Masterful builder, and a helluva great guy!
Now if he can get his father to say “2 cam” instead of calling it a twin cam.
Just a helluva great guy PERIOD!!! Congratulations now sell me that Shovel FXRT haha!!!
She’s a beauty. Great work Matt
My brother’s been making these for a few years. (74) at last count. 100% happy customers.
