I could do that if I wanted to….I just don’t want to!
I wouldn’t want to, mainly because I pay for and mount my own tires!
Standing next to a bike with the front brake on and the rear tire using itself up=not cool.
Drifting a track with a silly grin=way cool.
It’s time for a new marketing campaign to sell all those Daytonas! They have been pushing this “stunta” theme for years and the Daytonas still continue to grow roots on dealer floors.
I love my Daytona 675 btw. But I don’t think the average buyer of this bike is into the Icon/ thug look. Maybe when the bike was sub $10k, but not at $12k and up. It’s a more affluent buyer now.
Love it, love everything about it 🙂
Guys just wanna have fun…
Sliding a bike anywhere is fun…. and takes some skill.
But yes, just sitting in one spot shredding a tire takes no talent at all.
