Maybe HD should trademark the name “Packard” while they’re filing for “Pan America”…

Maybe Harley is finally going to market an adventure bike.

I want to see this “old school” electric bike or rather; their version of it. Can an electric bike be old school? Being Italian I must assume they mean old school Euro style; not American style. It seems to me the engine itself is a big part of what makes an old school bike old school. Did I use the phrase “old school” enough in this paragraph? 🙂

Pan America – maybe a VRod-based sport tourer? The rumor mill says that drive train will live on in some form in the future, so why not?

Well, HD needs a sport tourer too, or even a water cooled tourer. But the Pan American highway suggests a dual purpose bike. It’ll be interesting HD needs to do something, they’re comfortable to ride but a 800+ lb air cooled V-Twin bagger is begging to overheat no matter how big the engine is.
