Bad To The Bones Arlen Ness Wheels

Like a conventional wire spoke wheel these new billet spoke wheels consist of a rim, center hub and spokes but that¹s where the similarities end. Every component is machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and bolt together similarly to an automotive 3-piece wheel. In order to put up with the abuse many riders place on their motorcycles, Arlen Ness has utilized hardened steel bushings in every bolt hole. These bushings are capable of withstanding shear loads up to 6,000 lbs., help with assembly and isolate each individual bolt from the severe shear loads experienced during braking and acceleration. Assembly is finished with chrome 12 point bolts, chrome flange nuts and hardened stainless steel washers. Available in either a straight spoke or a cross spoke in chrome or contrasting chrome and black anodizing. Arlen Ness

What a novel idea. I hope different shaped custom spoke are in the works. Kind of a design your own wheel in a box thing.

That is the wheel that “Gypsy” used on the bike she built named “Bitch Slap” for the Discovery Channel Biker Build Off.
Oh she Won and was the first woman to do so.
I am happy to say I was there during the build and also on the ride.
The wheel is very well constructed and good looking. I am sure you will see it on a lot more motorcycles.
