New 2008 Viper Motorcycle

Viper positions itself as a designer and manufacturer of motorcycles for affluent enthusiasts seeking uncompromising performance and cutting edge technology, with over 80% of a Viper created with parts manufactured by Viper for Viper, right down to the wiring harness. Ok, Viper. I heard you. But when you state that “Viper motorcycles are real customs” I am not sure that myself and other true custom builders will agree. Maybe Viper motorcycles are a little bit more custom than some offered by mass producers (I am sure it’s what you really meant), but evidently not as custom as the true one-off bikes we are crafting. Anyway, Viper is going to release a new model in December. Stay tuned. Viper Motorcycles

    Went to their web site.
Nice bikes and the finish looks good, but………
They appear to have a product “line”:
    – Diablo
    – Diamondback
    – Mamba

So, if several “affluent enthusiasts” can each buy a Mamba,
how can they all claim to have their own “real custom motorcycle?”

Perhaps “…component parts are billet aluminum, machined in-house, using distinctive patented technology…” means that each billet part is unique…?

    I’m confused.

    -BTW- isn’t a “Diablo” sold by JJ…?
