Evolution Industries proposes machined aluminum clutch baskets with replaceable steel chain, bearing race, bolt-on ring gear and clutch drive dogs. I don’t really understand a clutch. But lighter, I understand.
I’ve been around these guys for years and their mfg capabilities and quality is absolutely outstanding and 1st class. Quality parts and assemblies made in USA
Premise looks good. Is the chain sprocket a one piece assembly with the machined hub? Are you planning a complete precision press in hub with bearings for this basket? The original factory design for this part was not very good. There was too much wobble in the bearing.
The clutch kit looks impressively well made; Looked for some type of written instructions or cautionary hints, but found none in my package. Perhaps installation is self-explanatory when following the OME manuals, but some written touch would be nice.
