The National Motorcycle Museum, Anamosa, Iowa, invites anyone with motorcycles or uniforms, photos, posters, even stories that are related to motorcycles at work to consider being part of a new exhibition. “At Work Motorcycles ” will chronicle a century of courier service, police, military action and more in which motorcycles have played an important role. A great opportunity to exhibit your motorcycycle art.
The exhibit will open June 4, 2011 during the first National Motorcycle Museum’s Vintage Rally. Plans are to include bikes from the famed 1940’s Harley-Davidson WLA all the way up to the modern M1030 Kawasaki Diesel, a 2010 military version of the venerable KLR. If this interests you, dig through your boxes and closets and then contact Mark Mederski at the National Motorcycle Museum with your list. Mark can be reached at 614 551 0960, or mark@nationalmcmuseum.org.
