2011 Daytona Bike Week. Victory Activities.

For the 70th Daytona Bike week, Victory Motorcycle riders will be kept busy taking scenic rides, doing demo rides, making runs on the drag strip and entering bike contests and attending the annual Victory Party. Below the complete list of activities.

March 5-12, Daytona International Speedway – Victory Demo Rides. In the parking lot outside the Daytona Speedway, turn 4 of the racetrack, inside the gate where Richard Petty Boulevard and Midway Avenue intersect.  Victory will offer demo rides on all their models Saturday, March 5, through Saturday, March 12. Rides start daily at 9 a.m. and the last ride rolls out at 4:30 p.m.

March 5-12 – GoPro Camera Give-Away & Photography at the Demo Site. When a rider registers for a Victory Demo Ride, he (she) automatically be registered for a chance to win a free GoPro Hero HD camera. Cameras will be given away daily throughout Bike Week. Plus, the GoPro Camera Bike will be on the road with Victory Demo Rides, shooting photos of Victory demo riders. Those photos will be uploaded to the Victory website throughout Bike Week, and riders will be able to go online to download their photos. Riders will receive details about how to access their photos when they register to ride.

March 5-12 – Victory Bike Week Pins. Victory Riders can pick up a free Victory Bike Week 2011 pin at the Victory Demo Site or at the Victory Party. Each rider who is wearing Victory apparel or who shows a Victory team member their Victory ignition key will get a free pin. Pins are available while supplies last.

Tuesday, March 8 – Victory Motorcycles / Cabbage Patch Specials. Riders who visit the Cabbage Patch on Tuesday, March 8, should look for special Victory parking and food specials for Victory Riders. The Patch is located at 549 County Road 415 (Tomoka Farms Road), New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168-8943. It’s at the intersection of Pioneer Trail and CR 415.

Wednesday, March 9 – Volusia Victory / Night Flasher LEDs Victory Bike Show. Wednesday’s big event is the Night Flasher LEDs Victory Bike Show at Volusia Victory. Here’s the Bike Show schedule: • Registration (free) from 1-3 p.m. • Judging at 3 p.m. • Trophy presentation at 4 p.m. Best Victory Touring Model, Best Victory Cruiser, Best Victory Custom Chopper, and Best Other Make. Prizes will include LED lighting from show sponsor, Night Flasher LEDs.

Thursday, March 10 – Victory at the Drag Strip. At Speed World Orlando Dragway, 19442 E. Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL 32820. (To get there from Daytona Beach, take I-95 south to Highway 50, and take Hwy. 50 west to the drag strip.) Enjoy the drag strip experience on Thursday, March 10. The strip will be open to all brands of bikes, and it’s a bikes-only day, Each bike will get a simple tech inspection, and each rider on the strip must wear a leather, full-coverage jacket, jeans (leather pants recommended), boots that cover the ankle, full-coverage gloves and a DOT/Snell full-face helmet. Track admission on Thursday, March 10, is $10, and it costs just $5 more to run on the strip. Unlimited runs can be made from 1-8 p.m.

Friday, March 11 – Group Ride to the Victory Party, White Eagle Lounge. Victory Riders meet at the White Eagle Lounge outside Daytona Beach for a group ride to the Victory Party in New Smyrna Beach. Riders should be at the White Eagle by 10 a.m. for the ride to the party. The White Eagle is located at: 5533 N. US Hwy. 1, Korona, FL 32110, phone: 386-437-2341.

Friday, March 11 – The Victory Party at Daytona Bike Week, Flip Flips Chill & Grill. The annual Victory Party at Daytona Bike Week will be held Friday, March 11, from noon to 2 p.m., at Flip Flops Chill & Grill, the same site as last year’s party. Flip Flops Grill & Chill is located at: 725 E. Third Ave., New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169, phone: 386-424-0161. Victory Riders should register online for the party. Go to the Victory  website and click on the Daytona Bike Week button at the bottom of the home page. This private party is exclusively for Victory Riders, who will be treated to a free lunch, courtesy of Victory. Parking in the Flip Flops lot will be exclusively for Victory motorcycles during the party. All other brands can be parked in the adjacent shopping center lot. Victory Motorcycles.

    Looks like Victory offers more activities for its riders than Harley-Davidson.

    Going to Daytona. Really wonder if this year crowds are going to get bigger than during the last 3 years.

    I didn’t see where their Mexican taco/burrito shop is located, probably next to their Mexican factory! YUK-YUK!! Thought it was time to stir the pot a little bit! Fire Up, People!! Wiz

    Wiz, not sure where your going with this but if you are referring to Vic being made in Mexico you are way off. They are engineered, manufactured and assembled in the US, Sprite Lake Iowa to be specific. They are actually able to wear the “Made in the USA” badge unlike some others that are “assembled in the USA”.

    This rally going the way of the others COP WEEK?The bars like the Cpatch get you in and the local police wait outside or down the road behind the bushes my last Daytona going since 88
