Super Freni Nostalgic 2-Piston Brake Caliper

No doubt the most innovative brake caliper design in a very long time. Especially if you wish to emphasize the nostalgic look of your bike, stock or custom. Theย  2-piston Super Freni (Italian for brake) brake caliper is made in Italy from forged aluminum for superior rigidity and CNC milled for precise tolerances and superior braking performance.

Center to center center hole mount distance is 3,25″ (Caliper bracket to be ordered separately) Width is 3″ or 76mm (check clearance to spokes on narrow wire wheels) Available in raw or shiny polished aluminum and sold with brake pads and banjo bolt included. The Super Freni 2-piston caliper design matches the one of the Deluxe handlebar controls sold by the same company. At Kustom Tech Italy.

Those are nice, but I’m guessing a bit on the pricey side.

these guys make best in class products. These are reminiscent of early disk Hurst calipers from the 70’s, be interested in their ability to perform under load.

If you really dig abroad across EMEA and APAC, there are small companies like Kustom Tech producing great products. Glad to see they are getting some visibility in the US beyond inner custom builder circles.

    ($440 U.S.) for cast 2 pot brakes?
Looks cool, but will never sell in the States. Anybody that looks at these and tells themselves they have to have them will balk when it comes time to pony up the dough ray me.
I love how Europeans still can’t get a grip on what works here, If I wanted a bike that stops poorly I could get it done for far less and spend my U.S. currency on American made product that out preforms.

I have to agree with what the others are saying, too much money for something like this. They may be an upgrade for brakes developed in 1975, but why anyone would put a big piston brake system on a newer bike is beyond me. I really like stopping, almost as much as I like going. Now, if I had a solid cafe build in the 78 Honda in my garage – THAT would be something. A couple of these pistons (which would cost as much as the bike) might improve the stopping distance.

They are pretty, but old tech for stopping. If you like bling, go for it. L&R.
