Cue the haters and their best effort at cheap shot regarding Victory styling…

  2. 2 Shifter Jul 17th, 2012 at 10:50 am

With this model, Victory is targeting white collars executives. Hmmm

Victory pursuing mid 90’s Harley strategy. Let’s sell to the yuppies?

  5. 5 BobS Jul 17th, 2012 at 11:36 am

Maybe he’s a henpecked ear, nose, and throat specialist that bags his own sh*t, and is the biggest poser of them all! Lol.

  10. 10 atburt Jul 17th, 2012 at 2:30 pm

H-D’s are like A-holes everyone has one. Where do I buy H-D ash trays, oh ya at the dealership.

Now this should stir it up.

  11. 11 Highrider Jul 17th, 2012 at 6:46 pm

The problem will be ” will they ever be in a dealership? Many newer models and some the old ones are never stocked in show rooms. Why is that?

Victory has a long way to go

  12. 12 Matt Jul 18th, 2012 at 8:46 am

Going strait for Harley’s bread and butter in this ad I see. I can’t help but think that we may see a set of beach style bars on this new model given the name but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

  13. 13 Rodent Jul 18th, 2012 at 10:14 am

Most doctors, lawyers etc if they ride at all ride BMW’s.

  14. 14 CafeSportyTC Jul 18th, 2012 at 10:30 am

rodent so does our local highway patrol……little bitter about that one

  15. 15 rumble Jul 18th, 2012 at 11:59 am

geez, just cause the guy is in a suit in the city? I think it’s more about what all of us riders feel- break out of the rat race- go for a ride- regain your sanity. Every job has it’s uniform- a suit, a shop shirt, a chef’s hat… whatever. -and Highrider, maybe you have a problem distinguishing a concept bike from a new model release. And you say Victory has a long way to go? Well there you go demonstrating how you know nothing about Victory, yet feel inclined to type your ignorance for the public to see. Fact is that Victory is far superior to your precious Harley in every category. Anyone who rides both bikes side-by-side knows that the good ‘ol HD just isn’t good enough. The Vic destroys the HD in every category- power and torque, comfort, handling, braking, everything. I’ve owned both and as much as I loved my Harley’s, they are a distant second compared to the ride that Victory delivers. Don’t know why Harley owners feel they have to put down Vic. Especially when it is a hands down superior motorcycle- even 20% MORE American components than an HD. Ya don’t have to like them, but you have no business hating them. And as Harley’s finally start improving-i.e. the 103″ motor and the new touring frame introduced in 2009, thank the competition that Victory is dishing up for that too.

    Ride ON Jeff B!
Great to see my Robb Report Editorial Co worker Jeff making that ad look good!

  17. 17 BobS Jul 18th, 2012 at 5:10 pm

Spaz, rumble, whatever your name is this week…I’m a convert too and like Vics as much as anyone. But could you at least take a breath before you do the very thing you rip others for? If the Victory rider with the biggest mouth is also an idiot that makes us all look bad.

  18. 18 .357 Magnum Jul 18th, 2012 at 8:18 pm

I suspect maybe Victory is aiming its advertising at people who might actually HAVE THE MONEY TO BUY ONE. Audacious, I know, and perhaps a bit foolhardy, because we all know you can’t be a Real Biker™ if you go so long between fistfights in the local bars that you’re able to stay out of jail, and maybe hold down a jay-oh-bee, for a week or more at a stretch!

As the self-appointed determiners of who can or cannot be Real Bikers™, we find it our duty to pronounce doom on Victory for not sucking on our unwashed, STD-spangled scrotums and daring to depict a man with a real job on a bike. We don’t give that company more than a few months, do we, “brothers?” Down with the doctors and dentists!

(Oh, and can somebody spot me some painkillers for this busted tooth? I can’t get it taken care of ’til my ol’lady gets her disability check next week!)

    .357-Good one!

Rumble-Please stop beating the drum so loudly. Yamahas, Hondas, Kawasakis are also “better” by your defintion, but people want HDs. Thats OK. I hope I never see Visions as often as I see Road Kings. Be happy with what you have, and don’t worry about everyone else.

  20. 20 Harley 48 Jul 19th, 2012 at 5:54 pm

It’s very nice, but it ain’t no Harley. I ride harley for what it stand for – the american bad ass…..hehe

  21. 21 kam Jul 20th, 2012 at 8:29 am

I like Harley’s and have rode one, but it was to small! Let’s face it if you are over 6′ the chances are you look like an ape riding a child’s toy. I rode a chopper (ridged) but my kidneys told me that was a bad decision. Now I drive a Victory and find it fits my delicate 6’4″ 250# frame. I can stretch out enjoy the rode. Ride and enjoy, if you need a motorcycle to be a bad ass you are probably suffering from short man disease.

  22. 22 barney Jul 21st, 2012 at 5:11 pm

    .357 Magnum rules!!!! …..love it.

  23. 23 cdw Jul 22nd, 2012 at 10:25 am

I am looking forward to the release. Already did the open Jeep thing across north america, maybe it is time to get a bike.

  24. 24 IronCock Jul 24th, 2012 at 2:50 pm

Harley stands for BadAss????? LMAO so F’in hard! C’mon get real, HD and BadAss haven’t known each other for 30 years! You wouldn’t be able to buy a Harley if it weren’t for yuppies and Mid life crises’ counselors! Listen, I own an HD Ultra and did all the crap that makes me happy, cams & chrome, but to knock a Victory product that puts real americans to work and is owned by a succesful US company Polaris, that now owns Indian Motorcycles, check thier stuff out you ‘ll be very impressed.
I love my HD but, it’s not a great bike, have lots of problems and what do you get from the dealers… ” you should expect that, it’s a Harley” gimmee a freakin’ break. How ’bout this bubba, build the thing right the first time. Yea HD, take a lesson because change is a comin’ You better hope the college girls still want to wear shit that says Harley! HD has become a corporation that is run by a board and is all about thier stock price, nothing else. What it stands for…LOL….come up with something better than that. If you love it you love, that’s ok, just don’t type while you’re makin’ shit up though, it drops you IQ to level of HD oil pressure on a summer day…close to 0.
    Later, be safe!
