If you go taller with your front stock Harley wheel, you need to move up your fender to keep the correct clearance to the tire. These Drag Specialties by Hotop Designs adapters lift stock front fenders to fit your custom 21” wheel. Made of billet aluminum, sold in pair in chrome or gloss black. Suggested retail is $99.95. I’ve ridden to Sturgis from Michigan and back, no problems without spacers.
Yeah E.,
That is an interesting point. Most of the “customize your bagger” books and articles that I’ve read suggest it simply fills the fender more, giving an illusion of being lowered, but they do not suggest any clearance problems.
I have ridden to Sturgis from Sacramento without a problem as well. have over 50 k on the bike and never had issues with fender rubbing or clearance problems
not needed!
well the new 140mm x 21″ is a different story..that I could see …but a 120mm x 21″ nope …not needed!
