Exclusive. 4-Way Bike Build-Off Between Jesse James, Paul Jr, Paul Sr And Garage Gas Monkey Shop On Discovery Channel.

Fans of TV build-off series can celebrate. On December 11, 2012 in a 2-hour special on the Discovery Channel Jesse James, Paul Jr, Paul Sr and the 2 guys of Gas Monkey Garage (Richard Rawlings & Aaron Kaufman currently starring in “Fast N’ Loud” on the same channel) will compete with each other in a 4-way bike build-off.

Work just got started and each party has a crazy 5-week real time work schedule. Since I am not going to introduce you to Jesse, Paul Jr or Paul Sr, just a few words about Richard & Aaron. They work together at Gas Monkey Garage, a world-renowned hot rod shop in Dallas, Texas. Both are self-taught mechanics, fabricators and all around hot rodders. In their Fast N’ Loud TV show, they search for forgotten and derelict classic cars to buy and restore them at their shop. Will be very interesting to watch builders with very different personalities compete in this first 4-way build-off. To follow with more details…

Now THIS I will watch! peace

  2. 2 colin Oct 9th, 2012 at 11:06 am

Great another show where everyone is gonna say Jesse James should have won.

  3. 3 Woody Oct 9th, 2012 at 11:12 am

Another show where one person builds from scratch but another drinks coffee while waiting for most of their project comes in a big box, delivered by people who then put half of it together? Fool me once, shame on you……
A contest needs some structure, I’d rather see a truckload of steel dropped off at each shop along with whatever engine the producers get paid the most to ‘feature” ;)

  4. 4 Greeko Oct 9th, 2012 at 11:18 am

The 2 hot rod guys are going to win. They are excellent at what they do.

  5. 5 CafeSportyTC Oct 9th, 2012 at 11:20 am

    here we go…

  6. 6 Brandon Oct 9th, 2012 at 11:39 am

Hey Cyril. You know more, so tell us what they are building.

  7. 7 Steelchoppin Oct 9th, 2012 at 11:41 am

My first thought: two words…”Money Grab”

    My second thought:
Sorry, but everyone knows Junior didn’t build a better bike. You gotta remember who is actually voting for this crap…white (mostly overweight) woman aged 34-55 that want Junior inside them. If they wanted more than one “real” bike builder they would include someone with some REAL proven talent. There are only a handful of guys on the planet that are both well known enough to draw any crowd at all and equally as talented at building a motorcycle that doesn’t sip espresso instead of race fuel. Besides Jesse that would include: Eric Gorges, Kevin Verkest, Aaron Greene, Matt Hotch, and Dave Perewitz to name a few (there are others as talented with less ability to draw a crowd). Guys that could get a delivery of two tires, sheetmetal, tubing of various sizes and enough parts to assemble an engine and a transmission are few and far between. It would be far more interesting to see Jesse and Junior in an octagon.

The more things change the more they stay the same…now you just gotta have a beard and a denim jacket with cut off sleeves.

  8. 8 Keybored Oct 9th, 2012 at 11:43 am

Hopefully this time they will have to ride their creations (100s of miles), going back to the orginal format of the biker build off. Because aren’t we suppose ride motorcycles?

  9. 9 Dave Blevins Oct 9th, 2012 at 12:12 pm

And who will judge this awful mess?

  10. 10 GB Oct 9th, 2012 at 12:29 pm

Keyboared-..I hope they go back to the old format of the buildoffs…build a bike in a lotted time frame adn then actually ride the damn thing…thats he real test..you can build the most ugly big wheel bike or build the most bad ass bike but if you dont ride it then it just a coat rack…thats the real test the ride

  11. 11 Smithers Oct 9th, 2012 at 12:32 pm

It’s something to watch. I’ve always been a fan of Jesse’s work and always will be. But I’m really digging those boys from Fast n Loud……. Kind of cracks me up those two and it seems more realistic and real! you can see the dude sweating at the auctions.Plus they build cool stuff…..And Richard has nice hair!

    Will be intresting?

  12. 12 doc Oct 9th, 2012 at 12:35 pm

    “stupid is as stupid does”

  13. 13 mikep Oct 9th, 2012 at 12:41 pm

Agreed! They should have to ride these bike hundreds if not thousands of miles to a show/event where real bikers/enthusiasts vote, not women with a grudge (who don’t ride/like bikes) They should also have to build everything but the motor, trans, and front end. That’s when we’ll see who the real builders are. JJ was right when he said the sound of progress at PJD is: beep beep beep (the sound of a delivery truck dropping off prefabricated parts). Regardless of the rules I’m still excited, I love all the old biker build off shows.

  14. 14 Shifter Oct 9th, 2012 at 1:10 pm

    And the winner is…Cyril’s readership!

  15. 15 the one Oct 9th, 2012 at 1:18 pm

what parts does pjd have shipped in its more like one person shipped in brendon!!!!!

  16. 16 Knucklehead Oct 9th, 2012 at 1:36 pm

What ever! I think it will be a good show. The whinners here can just go watch Grays then and stay out of motorcycle influance.

  17. 17 mikep Oct 9th, 2012 at 3:30 pm

First off I’m pretty sure a question mark belongs somewhere in your post there. He doesn’t build his frames, front ends, or fenders (you know the easy stuff). All his fenders are pre made, he just cuts them how he wants. Didn’t you watch the build off? Yeah you’re right he has Brandon build everything else because he can’t. Its not like he doesn’t have the equipment, its just a lack of skill.

  18. 18 harry palms Oct 9th, 2012 at 4:54 pm

    ill watch it…why not?
jesses gonna build another cool chopper, jrs gonna build something cool looking but not rideable, hopefully sr will build an actual chopper this time, and who knows what the fuck those goofy texans are gonna build…

  19. 19 Septic the Sceptic Oct 9th, 2012 at 6:39 pm

Whole thing is pointless unless they ride them. A long way.

  20. 20 Dee H. Oct 9th, 2012 at 6:45 pm

I couldn’t agree more! Return to the old format of X amount of time.. meet up..ride ‘em..People Choice.

  21. 21 The one Oct 9th, 2012 at 7:55 pm

Jessie didn’t build his fenders last year and I believe that brendon does build his own fenders and tanks and he’s part of team jr

  22. 22 MADrider Oct 9th, 2012 at 9:45 pm

If they can’t ride it 500 miles in a day, and not stop for gas every 40 miles, it’s just a very pricey paper weight. There should be the old rules of CBO and no votes from people who have NEVER thrown a leg over a bike, and kicked it over to ride it. Let real riders vote and make them ride to a event, no trailer queens!!! Make them BUILD the bike, ride the bike, and rider vote simple as that.

  23. 23 Sheridan Oct 9th, 2012 at 9:46 pm

Come on Jesse what are doing? You knew the first one was a setup and how it would fall, and now that you saw how it works why would you do it again? I agree with the above sentiments, without a mega long ride after the build to see the bikes in action and prove their ridability there’s not much point.

  24. 24 courtney Oct 9th, 2012 at 11:08 pm

    Ought to be interesting.

Those Gas Monkey crazies are a blast to watch — lots more interesting than watching Jesse James Napoleon Bonaparte the 2nd or 3rd (or 4th or whatever) fire people on TV, by God. Hopefully OCC won’t duck this time. And Jr? Hmmm. Well, at least he’ll put forth a legitimate effort, whether he wins or not.

Looks like a pretty fun show brewing!

  25. 25 RUB Oct 10th, 2012 at 4:24 am

Fast n Loud & realistic shouldn’t be used in the same sentence .

  26. 26 Rick Lossner Oct 10th, 2012 at 8:17 am

Show me the $$$ . They aren’t doing this for their ego’s; the $ keeps the lights on and keeps people talking about them , which domino effects into their other shows/forays.

I’ve got a DVR. Beer in the fridge. 24 hr periods with 2 hrs to kill. I’ll watch it. So will the rest of you ( even the naysayers) . And we’ll all bitch and whine after the ‘wrong’ person wins..

I enjoy fast and loud. But…… live in the Dallas area. Interesting how I have NEVER come across these guys until the TV Show. One of their project cars came from just down the street from me.. place I pass daily. Never heard a peep from anyone locally they’d sold their car to Monkey Garage…

    hmmmmmmmmm… guess thats show business

  27. 27 Roller Oct 10th, 2012 at 8:41 am

As for Gas Monkey ,what a joke. Richards wealthy wife fronts the money for him to pretend he is a hot rod builder. Its easy to go out there and talk the talk while everyone else dose the work. But then again its all about show business and drama. Give these guys minimal tools and some raw material and see what rolls out the door,,,,I think we know who wins!

  28. 28 Rodent Oct 10th, 2012 at 8:50 am

I predict that the winner will be DISCOVERY CHANNEL!

  29. 29 Oldude Oct 10th, 2012 at 8:57 am

    Ho Hum!

  30. 30 The Supreme Team Oct 10th, 2012 at 10:39 am

    Must….put….remote…down…

I swear I’d like to say I won’t watch this, but I just know I can’t avoid the train wreck…dammit anyway.

  31. 31 Johnny Wolf Oct 10th, 2012 at 10:48 am

    Yawn…..WWE for motorcycles.

  32. 32 Forced 382 Oct 10th, 2012 at 11:02 am

For any of this to be taken seriously they need to actually build the bikes and then put some miles on them. Then they need to be judged my motorcycle people ie. Arlen Ness, Matt Hotch, Russel Mitchell etc. Some actual builders that actually know what they are looking at and appreciate every aspect of the bikes, not just the shock value of over size wheels (or tracks) and flame throwers. I myself do appreciate what all the builders do in each of there own respects but it is tough to argue the fact that Jesse has set the bar for the bikes that he fabricates HIMSELF the past 15 years. IMO.

  33. 33 Papa ray Oct 10th, 2012 at 3:26 pm

they should make them ride 500 miles to prove that it’s a real bike instead of some pizza crap trophy American chopper is a soap opera Jesse and gas monkey bills real bikes discovery Chanel should bring back Biker Build Off o C C and junior build trophies who rides them things anymore

  34. 34 Eddie Trotta Oct 10th, 2012 at 5:22 pm

Well I’d like to throw my name into the hat , why
Don’t they use a real life bike builders,
I build bikes for real people , I have a real life
Motorcycle shop , I promise you I will build a bike
That makes them look like the tv actors that
They are , I hate to brag , but , just give me a chance one time ,

  35. 35 Brandon Oct 10th, 2012 at 5:36 pm

Eddie Trotta. Looking a little bit desperate…

  36. 36 Woody Oct 10th, 2012 at 5:52 pm

Hmm, if I DO own a DVR it must still be in the box somewhere because I’ve never seen it. Unless all the other channels are showing “The View” when this airs, I seriously WON’T be watching it. They fooled me last time, not happening again. Rodent was right, the winner will be DISCOVERY CHANNEL. I will however, read all about it afterwards right here ;)

  37. 37 Tony King Oct 10th, 2012 at 6:10 pm

Desperate? Sounds like a proud business owner / builder ready to back his words up.

  38. 38 Blackmax Oct 10th, 2012 at 6:37 pm

Might be interesting, but, probably not ….
I’m wayyy over both Pauls Sr. & Jr, they are non-factors.
Jesse will do his thing and his thing is good, but a little tired
the 2 guys from Texas, hey good luck ……
Me, I’d rather see Trotta, Donnie Smith, Ron Finch or anybody with some history in the buisness.
Like the prior comments from just about everyone else:
Go back to the old build-off format and for goodness sake, let’s some REAL riders /iker vote on the winner

  39. 39 Jet pilot Oct 10th, 2012 at 7:22 pm

Really? I won’t be watching! It was a waste of time the last build off.

  40. 40 Mad Matt Oct 10th, 2012 at 7:42 pm

Should be interesting to watch, that’s what it’s all about anyway..

  41. 41 Sharrack Oct 10th, 2012 at 7:46 pm

Funny…..there is only one journeyman Metalshaper in that contest who can build pretty much all the parts needed from scratch. He is the best builder …..period.
    After that……its all entertainment!

  42. 42 Speakeasy Motors Oct 10th, 2012 at 11:45 pm

So when are the young guns in the business gonna get a shot at this? I do more fabrication but don’t have a tv show, or come from a rich family, so I guess that means in most people’s eyes I’m not good enough? Talent sees no age. Time for some new blood in the business

  43. 43 Texx Oct 11th, 2012 at 12:38 am

The best part with the old build-off format was that they not only rode the bikes for some distance, but the people who voted were bikers, not kids and housewives…

  44. 44 john reed Oct 11th, 2012 at 10:04 am

  45. 45 THUG Oct 11th, 2012 at 1:18 pm

THROW THUG CUSTOM CYCLES IN THERE …I’D LIKE TO THROW DOWN AND POUND SOME METAL …… AND SEE WHO WINS …

  46. 46 mikep Oct 11th, 2012 at 3:09 pm

I saw Eddie build a pretty cool bike on Biker Build Off. He’s OK in my book. I would like to see Jesse go up against Matt Hotch, Chica, and Maybe even Arlen . I think it would be much more interesting to see than these other clowns. The American Chopper cast is a joke, the show used to be about the bikes in the beginning, but now its clearly about the drama. Discovery should cancel American Chopper, and bring back biker build off. Anybody who thinks OCC and PJD build bikes is lying to themselves, and they probably don’t ride (and if they do it’s probably a goldwing with heated grips and cup holders). I was disappointed with the last build off, I hope things change this time around.

  47. 47 CHOPMONSTER66 Oct 11th, 2012 at 4:45 pm

It, should be a cool show, no matter who wins. Just dig watching them build cool shit. And of course making money for the Discovery channel.

  48. 48 texasbikeworks Oct 11th, 2012 at 8:50 pm

Mr. Reed is the only one making any sense of this mess. That’s the reality of it.

  49. 49 Sharrack Oct 11th, 2012 at 9:13 pm

Thanks for the definition, but i already knew that. He has completed many APPRENTICESHIPS!

  50. 50 David Oct 12th, 2012 at 12:50 am

Really? Is anyone still watching this Crap TV? does anyone know anything about Fox buying out Speed Tv and the end of it? I heard they where turning it into a baseball channel????

    SSDD; David

  51. 51 The one Oct 12th, 2012 at 12:37 pm

Brendon is one of the best metal shapers out their just look at his website! He’s been in the business for a long time him and Jesse could probably build some cool shit together and just kill it!

  53. 53 sollis Oct 13th, 2012 at 1:40 pm

it would be nice to see new builders on the show , I am kind of tired to see this same faces its like eating tacos every day for lunch .

  54. 54 Rene Oct 13th, 2012 at 11:54 pm

I agree with the need for new blood. Gas Monkey guys are cool, but really don’t have bike building credentials. Garage Inc led by Austin Weiss would be a better fit. He’s a young master builder with numerous covers and has been further recognized by the AMA Hall of Fame, even though he’s just 29 years old. Has mad fabrication & metal work skills. Let’s see a real buildoff with those who truly fabricate. That would be much more interesting.

  55. 55 RonnRamm Oct 14th, 2012 at 11:05 pm

I have come to appreciate all of the builders. I give them much respect. But I agree these builders should have to ride at least 350 miles or more to show workmanship of each builder. The bikes should have great showmanship but ride-ability will be the big question. Innovations will be on the side of PJD and OCC , the surprise is Gas Monkey guys, and the durability will be on the side of Jesse James. The show will be the usual Discovery Channel format , so all in all , It will be something to talk about .

  56. 56 Jason's Garage Inc. Oct 15th, 2012 at 10:46 am

One thing that was nice about the old Biker Build Off Show, was it gave some props and notice to many builders around the country that are good at what they do, but weren’t nationally known. No one can dispute the fact that Jesse has talent and is one of the best at what he does. The OCC gravy train on biscuit wheels has run out, and these Fast n Loud fellas are getting plenty of exposure on their current show. If Discovery wanted a good show with real content, seek out those unnamed builders, that are only known in their respective local areas, and let them do their thing. Guys that are still hungry, that build build bikes and perform service, repairs and upgrades as a way to pay their bills, put food on their table, and support their family.

  57. 57 Billy The Kid Custom Cycles Oct 15th, 2012 at 2:43 pm

I have to go to a dermatologist at least twice a year to get steriods to get my hands to heel when they turn to hamburger from working six days a week on my day job just to make sure my bills and overhead get paid on my shop that I work 7 days a week so I can survive in the bike building world. I guess when I bring my tired body home after a 12 to 16 hour day and I can catch a re-run I will watch it only because of Jesse James and Gas Monkey dudes.

  58. 58 David R Oct 15th, 2012 at 4:16 pm

OCC and PJD are T-shirt builders. They need to bring back biker build off and Build or Bust.

  59. 59 DJ Oct 16th, 2012 at 6:06 am

Does anyone remember that show with Russell mitchell, build or bust…. That was a great concept and should be resurected

  60. 60 Sharrack Oct 16th, 2012 at 11:00 pm

Build or bust was a killer show!

  61. 61 Sharrack Oct 16th, 2012 at 11:13 pm

I dont believe speed channel owns that show. Scott Gillen is the guy behind build or bust.
    Dude with the cigar…..

  62. 62 Dean Murray Nov 6th, 2012 at 3:02 am

If this is a ture biker build off you have to ride them I dont want to see trailer Queens I want real bikes that runs and hold gas please!

  63. 63 Dean Murray Nov 6th, 2012 at 3:04 am

If this is a true biker build off you have to ride them I dont want to see trailer Queens I want real bikes that runs and hold gas please!

  64. 64 Steve Nov 8th, 2012 at 9:05 pm

It’s not a “bike” build off without Billy Lane. Jesse and the fast and loud crew are craftsmen, and the teutels…idk why they still even build those “sitters” they build bikes just to sit. But when you bring a self taught craftsmen who is the best at what he does he needs to come show everyone how to build riders and be someone to give Jesse a run for his money.

  65. 65 big dog Nov 13th, 2012 at 12:35 am

well paul sr and jr should quit building bikes and go on the dr.phil show to fix all the drama in there life and leave the bike building to jesse looking forward to seeing arron kaufman’s build like that guy and richard to at gas monkey give those guys a chance u might be in for a shock and i agree with most of the posts they should have to ride there bikes 500 miles good luck jesse and the gas monkey crew

  66. 66 Jon Nov 13th, 2012 at 1:38 am

Someone tell me that jr is gonna build a real fkin bike and NOT WIN. He didnt deserve to win last year nor ever… Jesse and maybe the fast n loud guys are the only REAL bike builders. GET RID OF THE CAKE DECORATORS!!!! AND THE FANS THAT DONT KNOW WHAT A REAL BIKE IS OR HOW THEY ARE BUILT OR RAN…

  67. 67 Mike Morgan Nov 13th, 2012 at 2:18 am

I hope the GMG wins this since I have seen Paul jr, Sr, and Jessie all build nothing but 3 mile bikes……..I believe GMG will build a true ride bike that is more then 5 miles in the tank…..
Plus I seen the first show doing this and Jr thinks his shit don’t stink since the last build off!

Jr and Sr are no more then assholes looking for no more then ratings…….it was all a ruse for the against one another for ratings…….both of them are fakes when it comes to bike builders…….

I can build anything that can sit in a showroom…..build something that is funcitunal assholes…………………………………………..

GMG I’m here for ya …need parts ……info……..contact me….least it will ride and be a full funcitunal bike……..

  68. 68 Mike Morgan Nov 13th, 2012 at 2:20 am

Sr and Jr are new york pussies……looking for ratings……like last time …build off = a fucking snowmobile……………see how they think??????? now that Jessie is in Texas i expect to see more and something big……..

  69. 69 Tina Marie Nov 13th, 2012 at 1:30 pm

    Has been’s and wanna-bees that’s what I’m calling them.
Jr and Sr, Jesse James and a couple of car guys, Why not include the guy from the bicycle shop too?
A better bike build off would be from up and coming individuals with better designs. Then have them ride their creation to the exhibit hall without a support vehicle.

  70. 70 Joe Nov 13th, 2012 at 4:15 pm

If JR wins I’m going to quit riding motorcycles all together.

  71. 71 Todd Nov 15th, 2012 at 11:41 pm

Your all bikers, you should no that each should be there own. 90 percent of you want a old school bike that we have all seen 100000000000 times. Enjoy what others build, if you like the style or not.

  72. 72 simba601 Nov 16th, 2012 at 10:02 am

Jesse builds a bike you can ride, Senior has people build a bike, hopefully a chopper this time, Jr builds art projects no one would ride over 5 miles at a time. The Two from Texas are more into reality of a ride-able bike. We will have to wait and see what they bring… In any case they should have to ride as others have said at least 500 to 1000 miles. It appears fixed for ratings and sequels. I believe Jesse is in it for the cash and chance to pick on Jr. in public.

  73. 73 Eatadik Nov 20th, 2012 at 2:54 am

PJD is going to win jr shits on all of them But It’s good to see jesses show is back on he might get some fans to vote for him he needs all the help he can get there’s a million people that can build old school choppers and few that can do what P.J.D dose

  74. 74 dcir Nov 21st, 2012 at 3:33 am

eatadik you are a tool pjd sucks and sr never was anything jessie is an arrogant has been

  75. 75 DAVE Nov 21st, 2012 at 8:08 am

jesse will win,he dont look at catalogs,
    all hade made,

  76. 76 Kevin Nov 27th, 2012 at 7:45 pm

Go Gas Monkey! What a whiner Jesse is… he almost cried when they delivered the donkey to his shop. He can dish it out but can’t take it.

  77. 77 Val Nov 27th, 2012 at 10:53 pm

I wonder if Jesse will claim he made his bike 100% this time….we know better!

  78. 78 shawn Dec 4th, 2012 at 1:35 am

Jesse will make his normal “old school” bike that he will say he made “100%” of… it will look like the same as everyone of his bikes…(please stop trying to get back in the lime light, we are tired of you) Sr. Will do nothing and let Jason design everything but take credit for it. Gas monkey will take money from his wife and act like he knows what he is doing but not actually turn a wrench and make a normal looking bike and act like its the king sh@t. Jr will spend days / weeks thinking about what will look the best, not take money from his wife not make a normal bike or constantly talk sh@t about his competition. Jr. of course will win. Not Hard

  79. 79 hotrod351 Dec 6th, 2012 at 3:24 pm

what im sure of is when the build off is over then so is jr. figure the only bikes he has gotten are from outfits that want there advertising on the show. sick and tired of him saying = i want it to look, then some one else designs and builds it just for him to say = yeah thats just what i wanted.

  80. 80 hotrod351 Dec 6th, 2012 at 3:26 pm

i liked it when sr said to vinney = you would have what you have except for me, vinney could argue with that.. after all he tried building bikes on his own and look where hes working now.

  81. 81 jonny Dec 7th, 2012 at 3:47 pm

jesse james is the only true fabricator, maybe jr has a lil bit too. but the gas monkey guys are clowns who build junk from junk they buy. nothin cool about cuttin coil springs to lower a car (Gas monkey) or not trimming spring pockets out when baggin the front of a car. sr just sucks. they all just order shit and then assemble it with some nuts and bolts. if anything id like to see a contest between jesse james and jr. even though theres no comparison between the two in fabrication skills.

load of crap! need more time to build bike.. why committ to some thing, and much worse talk all this crap and dont have a bike ready .. occ, jesse get real! GAS MONKEY KICKS ASS!

  84. 84 raul Dec 10th, 2012 at 11:40 pm

those guys at fart and loud are crazy to think they can win with a pink bike.just not cool if you are a biker.don’t think jesse, occ and pjd will ever go into a bike build-off with a pink bike.

  85. 85 Eric Dec 10th, 2012 at 11:52 pm

Proverbs says, “even a fool is thought to be wise if he keeps his mouth shut.” Jesse James would do well to remember that. He is such hollow, shallow man that he can’t express a thought without foul language. It is a shame that Discovery validates him by using him on the show. I bet he was the bully in the school yard and the loud mouth in class. Some things never change.

  86. 86 Smitty Dec 11th, 2012 at 12:07 am

What a joke Jesse is……….. If he doesn’t give a flick then drop out and stop your bs…

  87. 87 raul Dec 11th, 2012 at 12:14 am

indian larry was the best builder.these guys suck next to him.cool guy and cooler bikes. work of art REST IN PEACE.

  88. 88 Jamie Dec 11th, 2012 at 12:32 am

Gas monkeys bike actually getting rode to Vegas. Actually is and looks like a chopper jr prob win nice bike good guy. Jesse is no doubt best builder but his attitude makes ppl want him to loose. Not impressed with a Cnc bike. Plus what’s up with building crotch rockets for a chopper build off ? That automatically eliminates 2 in my opinion. Can’t wait till jj cries and bitches after he looses after continually saying he don’t give a frig the whole show. I’m voting jr on class alone and gas monkey gets the underdog vote.

  89. 89 tom Dec 11th, 2012 at 12:33 am

    How do I vote?????

  90. 90 Eric Dec 11th, 2012 at 1:27 am

Does Jesse James realize he got his butt kicked last year? He talks about the others like he won something. Talk about an inflated opinion of one’s self. Wow!
I have a great idea, try to win a chopper build-off with a sport bike.
I’m still trying to figure out what the one gas monkey guy does. Shows up, poses for a picture and leaves. Good work if you can get it.

  91. 91 jerry b. Dec 11th, 2012 at 1:48 am

He is the real deal Jesse is the only one that has real talent he doesn’t need high tect mechinery or other people to put a bike togther old shcool is the best is doesn’t matter the outcome he’ll always rule him and Rick and Cody should hook up and build a bike

  92. 92 Eric Dec 11th, 2012 at 2:11 am

Jesse James – Self absorbed dip stick. I can’t believe they changed the rules for him. He spends so much time talking about how little it means tells me he knows he is gonna be a loser again. He signed on for a 6 week competition, so build it in 6 or admit defeat like a man.

  93. 93 bob brassard Dec 11th, 2012 at 2:58 am

i dont what show all of you bike building pros watched, but paul jr by miles built the best bike i have no clue what cry baby jessie built its one of the ugliest bikes i have ever seen , and senior’s bike is just as ugly, gas monkey bike bike was cool , but no way as cool or as fabricated as junior’s thumbs up once again, easy the best of the bunch, a winner once again, way to go!!!

  94. 94 johan Dec 11th, 2012 at 3:45 am

i think jesse is a pretty cool guy, and a great builder. but whats up with his ego? i have to say that the guys from fast and loud have the coolest show and great style to their projects, i hope they win.

  95. 95 vampstriss Dec 11th, 2012 at 4:11 am

look jesses bad talk is a turn off. plus he didnt finish in time.

senior also took advantageof more time

fastn loud s pinkenstein. that looks like any other bike but pink

juniors FTW cause it was done in time it looks hot to ride

  96. 96 crawdad Dec 11th, 2012 at 8:43 am

Im not a pro on building bikes but hav been around them and owned several and still do today,,,Ive got to agree with a whole lot of you, those bikes Jessie aka mouth built by hand looks like shit and wudnt get caught riding the creations that him or Sr so-called built bikes…Go monkey ,that aaron can do it all,,,jrs is a creation tho to me,,,39 frill is badass but im goin with the ole shovel…..

  97. 97 Attilio B Pampanin Jr Dec 11th, 2012 at 9:54 am

Jesse James is number 1 in his mind Gas Monkey guys blew JJ away I think its between JR & Gas MONKEY

  98. 98 michael Dec 11th, 2012 at 12:25 pm

jessi james is the onlyreal bikebuilder in this discovery contest paul sr dosent turn a wrench paul jr orders parts those two good old boys in Tx i mean really what the hell r they even in this contest for. I agree t hey should ride these bike to the final show

  99. 99 michael Dec 11th, 2012 at 12:28 pm

Only one winner is the only bike builder Jessi

  100. 100 JJ Mason Dec 11th, 2012 at 12:40 pm

It is an entertaining show for all us gear heads. C’mon they are all in a different class and if judged that way they would all be winners. Gas Monkeys strictly a bikers bike and well done(paint?) and something we would all like to build and ride. Paul Jr’s bike is a theme bike and also well done for looking like a cool hot rod. Paul seniors bike is innovative and if Jesse’s is as engineered and rideable as he say’s, it could qualify as as the bike most likely to fill the gap between cruiser and sport bike. So sit back and appreciate all the work and be dreamin about your next ride.

  101. 101 Tstone Dec 11th, 2012 at 1:13 pm

Paul Sr and jessie built the same looking bike. They both look like they copied a croth rocket but made it with metal. I’m so tired of Jesse saying he builds everything himself he didn’t build the engine and just like last time a bunch of guys had to help him finish. I give gas monkey credit they built a bike they could sale easy. Paul junior will win this one because he isn’t a a–hole and brags about himself everytime he is on camera and because he actually has some design skills.

  102. 102 sazizwaz Dec 11th, 2012 at 5:10 pm

great cry baby Jessie where he make the same dam bid and then tries to fool people into thinking that he did all the work when in fact sent stuff out to be made just like all the others. The only thing he made was the frame and i think the fender…..

  103. 103 justagirl Dec 11th, 2012 at 6:52 pm

My theory is Jessie’s going to win!…this is a big promotion for a show for him…its just about time the public has forgotten his behavior with the Hollywood princess. This would give him the push he needs. OCC’s time on air is over, so its a way to say goobye. The Texans are a hot commodity and this is a way to allow more people to have access to them for future viewing.

  104. 104 Chet DeVito Dec 11th, 2012 at 8:18 pm

I voted for Jr. Last build off This year I have to with Jesse he built the best machine In
    my opinion

  105. 105 sergio javier Dec 11th, 2012 at 8:38 pm

Jesse is a real true craftman iron worker. The forces be with you

  106. 106 Tony Dec 11th, 2012 at 8:53 pm

The farting monkeys built a real ride and are riding it they have my vote. It’s time we get real with the build offs

  107. 107 justagirl Dec 11th, 2012 at 9:31 pm

I hope Jessie doesn’t rip out any gears..what a crap design…That’s where Jr has him beat..(designing.) Jr needs bigger tanks and but Jessie’s knows his metal. New found respect for Monkey boys..sad to see that bike chopped up though. Still don’t know what influence Sr had except conducting a vote on getting the bike anodised.

  108. 108 Rob Dec 11th, 2012 at 9:52 pm

Best one is Jr Designs again. What a work of art that is functional. I could drive that baby to work without a problem. True craftsman Jr! 2nd is OCC. Reason why you aren’t first is your designer still doesn’t design right. He’s come a long way. Try driving that 45 minutes to work, you’d have bar-b-que thighs. Pipes are right there. The front fork isn’t right either. Load is front to back instead of up and down. Lastly you have a load spring for the rear and it’s just about fully compressed because it isn’t the right one. Sloppy guys and that’s a shame. Lot better. BTW YOU weren’t the ones meeting the deadline and JR was ready on time. So let up on the little guy. 3rd is Gas Monkey. Great execution guys. Why 3rd? No front fender, rear one is too small. Not a daily driver. With choppers it would be first. Not a build off like this is. Hate to say it but Jesse is last. “Looks like a dog taking a crap.” My daughter said. She’s right. Where to begin Jesse – front fork is at too steep of an angle, looks like it’s already been in an accident and pushed backwards. Frame is hunch back. Rear end. Nice ideas just not thought out. Not impressed by your “making” things. Didn’t make the engine, tires, rims, cables, wires, magneto…etc so you’re really making more like 40% of the bike…. Now for mechanical. Why in the world did you turn the tranny upside down, then introduce new loads to the case? Sure, it may work for a while. I’d be very surprised if it doesn’t break soon. The tranny also isn’t designed to run like that. Do yourself a favor, don’t depend on that bike. It could very well leave you on the side of the road – if you’re lucky. If not, well you know what can happen with a catastrophic failure in a drive train when you need it to work.

  109. 109 michael heath Dec 11th, 2012 at 10:49 pm

my honest opinion no one should win none of the bikes look like chopper show bikes i think jesse tried to go the sport bike way which isnt his style he is a builde just think he got off track this time . the Tuetals same old bikes they always look the same gas monkeys come on using screws to plug rubber hoses come on how cheap and half ass can you be and richard acts like he is king of everything he needs to come off his pedastool i dont think there should be a winner this year i have 4 bikes mine looks better than all theres in the show

  110. 110 Tim Dec 11th, 2012 at 11:20 pm

What’s with the African-American host on a predominantly white event? I am not a racist but it looks very funny with those tuff guy bikers and that”Will Smith” host!!

  111. 111 griff Dec 11th, 2012 at 11:46 pm

i really was set up there is no way the grease monkeys came in 2nd just prob discovery channel had to promote there new series and the tuttles are leaving thats bullshit thats y im getting fed up with discovery.

  112. 112 Melinda Dec 11th, 2012 at 11:47 pm

It went exactly as it should have!!! Junior’s build is the best and Fast and Loud was right behind him!! I’m shocked theirs was so good! But they def brought their game!!

  113. 113 Holly Dec 12th, 2012 at 12:05 am

  114. 114 Thomas Haslett Dec 12th, 2012 at 1:33 am

That was the wost produced show ever!!!!! you should be ashamed of yourselves

  115. 115 inmate quentin Dec 12th, 2012 at 2:16 am

jessica took another crap with his want-a-be tough apelike demeanor.loss his mind along his skills,he drop a hybrid crotchlike rocket/victory lookin yard decoration into the built.guess he though it was a halmark show and he thinks talking with vulgar and trying to mad dog is going to bring fear into someone just shows who is the real sissy girl

  116. 116 Todd Dec 12th, 2012 at 12:08 pm

Sad truth is the “Building” of bikes has become more of the show then it’s end result. I liked the Guy’s from fast and loud as they built to me a real Bike. Jesse should have stuck to what he does best, build real bikes not toys. The build should go back to the old days, you get a deadline to build and ride your bike to a place then it’s voted on. At some point the Show took over the build.

  117. 117 BTCG Dec 12th, 2012 at 12:34 pm

The gas monkey bike was a restoration, a restoration I liked, but a restoration, nonetheless.

Senior’s and Jesse’s bikes looked like dirt bikes. And just like the 1st build-off between Sr. & Junior (for the car company), Senior’s girth made the bike look very small, like an adult riding a kid’s bike.

Face it: both JJ and OCC’s designs have no soul. OCC’s bikes after Junior left have gone from slap-together’s to the theatre of the absurd. Remember the horse-head bike? That’s classic Jason Poole and Senior.

This wasn’t Junior’s best work… but it was head & shoulders better than Senior’s or Jesse’s.

AND… that’s 3 straight wins for Junior over Senior.

  118. 118 John Dec 12th, 2012 at 9:27 pm

What was that weird egg shaped piece of metal behind Jesse’s seat? Wtf? Wanted to like JJ’s but it lacked finesse. It had no proportion or visual sophistication. Frankly, while everyone here is strangely in love with Jesse–despite his phony claims of heritage from the real JJ–he hasn’t made a great bike in many years. He’s a faux tough guy, all braggadocio and bluster, talks hard and live soft for two decades. Fabricator, smhmabicator. Make a damn bike, design it, get it built. No one asked Frank Lloyd to mike his own concrete, throw his bricks. He was an architect, not a mason. Enzo Ferrari didn’t make his own push rods. Jesse sucks up to Cyril’s followers by claiming not to being a great designer, but claiming your fealty instead because ‘he builds it all by hand”. But not at all by himself, if you watched his show carefully. His staff builds, he bangs hookers and gulls you marks by calling himself a fabricator. Who cares. If he was both a great designer and fabricator, I’d listen. But his work lacks vision and imagination, so I’m not such a sucker that I’m praising an ugly bike. Period. His fake tough guy Hemingway bluster is old and tired. I was in the Army and Afghanistan with fake badasses. Lunch meat for us real men. I smell the flop sweat from a thousand miles away. Phony. And ugly bikes. This one was a real turd. Even Sr’s, not bad at all, was far better…in 9 fewer weeks. Jr? Not in love with rear fender totally, but the right angle photos of the front showed a consistent theme that was carried out with imagination and vision. A modest paint job, still, it was part of the whole unified design that had a significant overall concept that worked.

  119. 119 Panhead Red Dec 13th, 2012 at 3:06 pm

Hey Jessie. Have you ever heard your self speak? You sound like frigging Liberace. By they way, we are trying to decide if your gassed back pimp hairdo is vaseline or fifty weight. What up?

  120. 120 Big U Dec 19th, 2012 at 9:44 pm

I also was really wanting to like JJ bike, but I didn’t. I didn’t love any of the bikes. I’m ready to watch new bike builders on TV.
