2013 is the last year the new Indian Chief is available. Because very few were assembled and there won’t be any more, is it an instant collectible? Some think so. Time will tell. It is expected that interest for the new generation of Indian will be extremely high, so I hear that some current Indian dealers offer extra incentives (parts, accessories or apparel) if you purchase one of the few remaining 2013 Chiefs. Well I just told you…Indian Motorcycle.

So if this is the last year of the new Indian Chief then I guess the 2014 will be the first year of the new, new Indian Chief.
Bud. 2014 will be the first year of the new Indian Motorcycle model because it will not be a Chief. Wake up to the news!
if a vehicle isn’t popular during it regular life it probable woun’t be popular later otherwise Excelsiors would be worth a mint
The new model will be called Mucho Wampum
It will be the last year of the H-D Softail clone “Indian Chief”. OOOOHHH, I’m so excited….
Brent, these two sources refer to a 2014 Indian Chief and one of them is a dealer.

Are they wrong? If not a Chief, then what?
No thanks on the old ones…
Can’t wait to see (and test ride) the new ones
Hey, Bud. Quick Throttle? Change your news source. They publish stupid things all the time. The new Indian (model year 2014) is not a Chief.
@Brent “Bud. 2014 will be the first year of the new Indian Motorcycle model because it will not be a Chief. Wake up to the news!”
I think you’ve been asleep at the wheel . Yes, there will be a Chief model, and 1 – 2 other models.
And yes, it’s a new Chief ( new motor, new frame, complete rework )
Cowboys and Indians – what could possibly be next..?
No Chief…That’s like McDonald’s buying up Burger King and saying “no more Whopper”.
From the dealer –
“The next generation of Indian motorcycles will be powered by this brilliant new engine, developed by Indian-Polaris engineers and designers. It captures the spirit of the legendary Indian brand, America’s first and finest motorcycle. 2014 Indian Chiefs will be introduced late this year, but the engine was unveiled at Daytona Bike Week. (Click on pic for the story.) We are the World’s #1 Indian Dealer. Call or visit us soon.”
I guess what they are saying is is your last and only chance to buy a 2013 model before they go to close-out prices.
i would be impressed if they built a quality bike at an affordable price.
Wether it’s called a Chief or not is irrelevant to me. I only care about important things, like will it come in black?
I just can’t FEEL this Indian ‘thing”1 To me it is a after market look alike HD Clone built by tha California Motorcycle Company. Although through some and I mean “very little” R&D a distant Cousin with some new Duds are going to appear with a New Suit (Polaris) with deep Pockets.. Are going to give the Bastard Cousin a New Pedigree. All Good, don’t forget the “HEART & SOUL). That is what makes a Pedigree!
Only living animals have hearts and only human beings have souls. Whenever I hear someone say that my Victory “has no soul” I laugh and think that must be the only thing they can think of to sooth their ego as they watch my tail light. If I had a corporate logo tatoo’d on my arm I’d probably try and come up with an excuse to justify my brand loyalty too. And yes, I have ridden Harley and several other brands. I get it, it feels good to ride a Harley. But they don’t have a soul, there’s nothing magical about them. They’re just nice bikes. And it feels great to ride my Vic.
RE: Last new 2013 Chiefs. Ug, we sell um dead horse to white man.
“Bob S” who was talking about a Victory? I was talking about the “Indian Thing”
hey talked to a dealer said the new bike will be priced at 18900. shit expensive wish they can drop it to at least 10000
Yes Bigalyts I realize that. You were talking about that “Indian Thing” and I was replying to the “Heart and Soul” thing. My Victory was only a singular example of the “No soul” comments made towards bikes not manufactured by Harley…which appears to include the “Indian Thing”.
