S&S Cycle 55th Anniversary. Jay Allen Will Be Master Of Ceremonies. Display Military Tribute Bikes.

Veteran-with-Army-BikeTomorrow Thursday afternoon I am flying to La Crosse, WI to participate to S&S Cycle 55th anniversary celebration to be held at the Oktoberfest Grounds on Friday, June 21st and Saturday 22nd, 2013.

Jay will showcase the Military Tribute Bikes on both days in La Crosse but will revealed them the day before on Thursday, June 20 at Fort McCoy Army Base from 11am – 1pm and at Tomah Veterans Hospital from 2pm-4pm.

These Military Bike Tribute were unveiled at the 25th Anniversary of The Rolling Thunder’s 2012 Rally in Washington, D.C. Inspired by Jay’s Army Bike which received enormous attention over the years, a custom bike build project to commemorate the 25th year of Rolling Thunder was launched. Jay selected four of the most talented builders to complete the tribute to each military branch; • Air Force Tribute Bike by Billy Lane • Navy Tribute Bike by Dar Holdsworth • Marine Tribute Bike by Brigette Bouget • Coast Guard Tribute Bike by Mike Thomas • Army Tribute Bike by Jay Allen

Regarding the specific S&S activities, it will include tours of the company’s facilities in La Crosse and Viola, vendor displays, custom bikes, great bands such as Foghat, visits to the S&S museum, etc. I will report from location during the weekend of festivities.
