I am in Wisconsin, home state of S&S Cycle, participating to their 55th anniversary celebration both at the Viola manufacturing plant and the La Crosse distribution center. Born in 1958, S&S Cycle has been in the business of conceiving, designing and producing high quality, high performance engine components – now including mufflers – for the last 55 years. Founder George J. Smith had to build his own parts to make his motorcycles go faster. And it became and never stopped to be the company philosophy: to manufacture the most prestigious line of GO FAST V-Twin engine parts. In a following post, I will retrace the history of S&S Cycle.
