Jesse James Re-Introducing The AllState Tires In The US. West Coast Choppers Is Exclusive Distributor..

ALLSTATEALLSTATEbisThis morning, Jesse James informed me that he just became the exclusive seller in the US of all AllState motorcycle tires. For the youngsters among you who never heard about ALLState, the brand was very popular in the 1940’s and 50’s for cars, bicycles and motorcycles and was distributed by Sear & Roebuck. The AllState tires are a great choice for all of you into choppers and vintage restorations. They are already available in 16″, 18″ and 19″ and Jesse tells me that a very Super Skinny 21″ front tire is coming very soon. AllState Tires are available at West Coast Choppers.

Sounds like a smart move on WCC’s part.

Probably not the best tires. But looking good.

I could not get any info from the WCC website – it is always handy to have a link that actually links to the content of the article…

BTW – it would be great if they have a 5.00-18 rear tire, I am forced to run my chop, with an Avon AM26 130/70-18.

Looks like Jesse James is more inclined to go the distribution route than to create new parts.

Where are these tires made. Hope he didn’t ship the molds overseas for cheap production in China.

Great looking tyre, hope they use a state of the art compound, wouldn’t hurt the look.

I would like to see them in the twin narrow white wall like I used to run back in the old days. If these were American made I would order some today. Good $ move on JJ part.

Totally agree! My builder just added a U-Haul franchise and full time person to run it. With that income he covers the total cost of the employee and covers his loan payment on the shop each month. In addition he has started selling racing fuel.

During hard times 1980-1984, our local HD dealership sold satellite dishes as well.

This tread may have been made by Goodyear for Allstate since they were big at branding quality (good, better, best) items with their own name.
I might have guessed Firestone, but their sidewall was ribbed (flute-ribbed), like the set of tires stacked to the right. Those are Firestones. Different than the Allstate shown.
Anyway, I wonder it the Allstates are the MT type drop-center rims? No doubt.
You can really roll-over and ride the sidewall tread in corners with an MT type, since the thinner sidewalls would bend and leave most of the “foot rubber” in contact with the pavement.
4:50 is pretty skinny. I ride on 5:10’s instead of OEM 5:00, the extra :10 allows me to stop at signs without putting my feet on the ground. Custom configuration… for me.
    What’s the price? $125. ?

    Remember those great 500 X 16 s (:-)

Coming from Jesse James and West Coast Choppers, they’ll probably cost $500 each, seeing as how an oil tank is $1500.

These tires ride way better than the piece of shit Coker brands. Coker tires are so out of round and tons of side play and the company can care less if your happy with them

Spot on with this write-up, I seriously think this website needs much
more attention. I’ll probably be back again to read more, thanks for the info!
