Cool Looking Finned Pan Covers For Harley-Davidson Models 1948-1965 And S&S Cycle P-Series Engines

FinnedCastPanCoverThese finned cast aluminum Covers will add a lot of style to your Harley Panhead 1948 to 1965 or S&S P-Series CTO engines (Configured To Order). Because of fins, they will make your engine run cooler. Because made of cast aluminum, they offer improved rigidity, making them seal better than traditional stamped steel pan covers. So, less risk of oil leaking…

SSFor this engine cosmetic option, S&S Cycle didn’t try to reinvent the wheel (S&S is concentrating on making it turn faster…), and collaborates with Custom Cycle Engineering who is the maker of these finned Pan Covers. Since 1967 (fyi, it’s the year of the summer of love) Custom Cycle Engineering produces great looking and very reliable motorcycle parts. Offered in a natural cast or polished finish with hardware included. S&S Cycle.

I find it funny that CCE will only sell you a set of the full finned front and less finned rear (that you only need for stock frame clearence) but in the pic for S&S they have them reversed so you don’t see the less finned rear cover (on front head) ?

You are correct, the covers in the picture were incorrectly installed for the marketing picture. Our apologies for the error. If you order Pan engines, you will receive the correct covers with reduced finned on the rear head and full fins on the front!

Your attention to detail is impeccable!

    S&S Jeremy
How about using your influence to convice CCE that there is a market for the option of 2 full finned covers for people building customs with the clearence to show there covers full finned ?

These covers are neat.I always think stock Panhead covers look a little cheap and nasty in the flesh.

I meet Randy Smith a couple of times in the 80’s. Great guy.
Looked at some photo Albums that went to back to the 50’s.Lots of
Hot Rod shows and Motorcycle pictures.
    Totally amazing stuff,
Then he wanted to show his latest holiday snaps. A trip through Europe on an FXRT.
The photos seemed to be centred around the topless beaches of Southern France. Hard case.
His wife Alicia just shook her head, but was not phased. Very cool Lady.

Great S&S is carrying on Randy’s legacy.
