Jay Leno Rides A 1931 Henderson KJ

Jay Leno’s Garage Website is getting better & better. Going there from time to time to check out the old bikes. See Jay riding the superbike of the 30’s. Like me, be envious of all what Jay keeps in his garage.

    RE:
“… be envious of all what Jay keeps …”

Well….. Jay has what Jay has.
Lots-a people will have more stuff.
Sort-a like there is always someone faster.
    Envy is a loose-loose proposition.

It’s more fun to “be looking for & building” your own cool stuff……… 🙂

I always enjoy working with Jay as he’s an enthusiast full of energy and knows his stuff.
You’ll find some cool m/c stuff on his site. Good on ya mate.

In thanks for Jay showing us how to ride the Henderson, I’ll offer this joke.
If you use it on the Tonite show, you’ll need to say you heard it on Cryil’s site. And don’t tell me you’ve heard it either, because our nephew made it up last night.

A man took his sick parrot to the vet.
The parrot was old, but had lived a great life. The vet said, “Alright, lay the parrot on the examining table”. I need to get my assistants to look at the parrot.
The man said, “Okay”, and set the parrot on the table.
The vet brought in a cat and set the cat on the table. The cat looked the bird over from head to toe, then shook his head slowly side to side, but then jumped off the table.
    The man was confused.
Then, the vet brought in a dog and had the dog jump up on the table.
The dog looked the parrot over, but he too, paused, then shook his head and jumped off the table.
The parrot unexpectedly passed away during the exam. All were surprised and saddened.
The vet put the parrot in a little box and gave him back to the man with a bill for $500.
The man, said wow, that seems like a lot of money.
The vet replied, “Well yes, there’s the charge for the office visit, and then the cat scan and lab results. It adds up”.

    Dave,

What part of –Envy is a loose-loose proposition– don’t you understand….???

Goings on in “my garage” are purely for my entertainment.
That’s the beauty of being retired…… don’t have to impress anyone but myself…… 🙂

i listen to Jay talk about his bikes and I cant help but like the guy as a fellow enthusiast. He is not a smarmy shite talking rich boy smartass…at all… he is well, kind of a regular guy with very *irregular* resources. Good for him, more power to him. Lets not begrudge anyone their success, he’s earned it.

He’s got class and is just as in awe of these machines as any enthusiast might be. He buys this stuff cause he digs it..just watch him grease the valve train….jay gets it….

he’s cool and his bikes are really cool – and thats cool with me – I am glad he shares.
