LITTLE HARRY ON MATH (Part 1)
A teacher asks her class, ‘If there are 5 birds sitting on a fence, and you shoot one of them, how many will be left ?’
She calls on little Harry. He replies, ‘None, they will all fly away with the first gunshot.’
The teacher replies, ‘The correct answer is 4,but I like your thinking.’
Then little Harry says, ‘I have a question for YOU Miss Rogers’.
There are 3 women sitting on a bench having ice cream:
One is delicately licking the sides of the triple scoop of ice cream.
The second is gobbling down the top and sucking on the cone.
The third is biting off the top of the ice cream.
Which one is married?’
The teacher, blushing great deal, replied,
‘Well, I suppose the one that’s gobbled down the top and sucked the cone.’
To which Little Harry replies,
‘The correct answer is
‘The one with the wedding ring on, ‘but I like your thinking.’
LITTLE HARRY ON MATH (Part 2)
Little Harry returns from school and says he got an ‘F’ in arithmetic..
‘Why’? asks the father.
‘The teacher asked ‘How much is 2 x 3′, so I said 6’, replies Harry.
‘But that’s right’ says his father.
‘Yeah, but then she asked me, ‘How much is 3 x 2’
‘What’s the fuckin’ difference?’ asks the father.
‘That’s what I said’ replied Harry. Continue reading ‘Jokes Of The Week. About Little Harry.’

Other link tools include a cutting hook, hex drives, screwdrivers, box wrenches, and a carbide glass breaker. What about an option to attach a watch face? It is stated as comfortable to wear. Will it be TSA approved when launched this summer by Leatherman Tool Group?
On February 17th, Mike Carter (left on top picture, posing with the Daytona Dealer Regional Marketing Manager Nate Cheeley) was ramdomly computer picked as the winner of the 2015 Cyril Huze Post/Victory Magnum Sweepstakes. Participants could register every day during the 6-week long contest, but Mike won after registering only one time on January 4th!
I immediately advised him and of course, Mike and his wife Sharon made immediate plans to be present in Daytona from March 6 to 15 to see their new Victory Bagger, ride with me, enjoy all what the full Daytona Bike Week has to offer and also visit a couple of friends in Central Florida.
Mike Carter is from Mishawaka, Indiana. He told me that he never won anything of value before. He started riding at age 15 (now 52) on a 1969 Honda super 90 that he resurrected from the dead with the help of his Dad. About 20 bikes later he currently owns a 2014 Harley Ultra Limited … and now a brand new 2015 Victory Magnum. He has been to Daytona Bike Week a total of 4 times and got married to Sharon during the 2001 edition of Biketoberfest. I want to publicly thank Polaris for offering this 2015 Victory Magnum to one of my readers. (Photography @ Horst Roesler, Regina Graf Springer, Manfred Graf for Cyril Huze)
METZELER celebrates 20 years of Custom V-Twin tire manufacturing with the launch of a new 26 inch front tire size added to its ME 888 MARATHON™ ULTRA line. It will be available in April in the USA.
This new front tire size has been designed specifically for baggers and custom bikes, allowing customizers to enjoy an aesthetic upgrade, paired with the great handling and performance the ME 888 MARATHON™ ULTRA line is known. Metzeler mentions an excellent feel and grip in wet and dry conditions, stability, agility, and the best mileage in its category for the entire life cycle of the tire.
Given its unique size, checking clearances will be important for customizers to ensure the tire fits on their bike. This new ME 888 MARATHON™ ULTRA 120/55R26 67H TL is designed for a 3.75 wide 26” rim but a 3.50 or 4.00 width rim is acceptable too. Metzeler reminds riders that when fitting any tire to a motorcycle to verify that there is at least ¼” clearance from the side of the tire to the forks/fender, then a minimum clearance of ½” is needed from the top of the tire to the bottom of the fender to prevent paint burn and fouling when riding. Our business in life is not to get ahead of others but to get ahead of ourselves, to break our own records, to outstrip our yesterdays by our today, to do our work with more force than ever before.
Last Sunday in Daytona, Jim Nasi unveiled a new custom Bagger to promote the new line of Bahn™ bold components. The design philosophy behind the design of these new custom accessories is to complement rather than consume the character of your motorcycle. Vice President of Product Development Pete Amenda explains: “Jim’s style is extremely representative of the Bahn product line,” said. “The vision and creativity he displayed in this project perfectly illustrate the flexibility we aimed for when developing this line. The bold, distinctive styling really makes Bahn unique, providing builders a customizable canvas that elevates the overall build. The techniques Jim applied to our Bahn parts used in this build demonstrate that trait flawlessly”
The Bahn Products featured on Jim Nasi’s creation include: air cleaner, rocker box accents, head bolt covers, tappet block accents, derby cover, pegs, shift linkage cover, shift arm 7 levers, brake pedal, and dash accents. Most other parts are from Jim Nasi Customs.
Billet aluminum is appropriate for big planes and your Dad’s motorcycle. But for many bikers, steel parts are the real deal.
The newest Mini MX style pegs from Burly are just that. They took their existing bear trap and narrowed it up a bit for a nice balanced feel. Also makes an excellent passenger peg if you’re already running the full size stuff up front.
Your favorite part detail may be the integrated bottle opener… Nice touch Burly!
MSRP: $115. Contact your dealer or Burly directly.
For this first Sunday of Daytona Bike Week, the True Grit gathering of vintage and classic motorcycles was the event not to be missed for owners and fans of old iron.
Created by Warren Lane with the complicity and support of Bill Dodge, Billy Lane and Dan “Bacon” Carr, the event, whose format is informal by choice, attracted about 100 of the best of yesterday’s motorcycles for a day of fun and camaraderie under the Pavilion at Rossmeyer’s Destination Daytona in Ormond Beach, FL

Because you never know what kind of weather Daytona Bike week is going to get… All vendors I talked to in person, email or phone had a great feeling about this year’s Bike Week when they setup their displays last week. Weather was gorgeous until Friday March 6th when temperatures started to drop to the low 50’s with wind and rain. Now, these same vendors worry that up north record-breaking low temperatures may prevent some bikers to descend on Daytona. For sure, there are more vendors attending this 74th Daytona edition than they have been since 2009, the deep of the Us recession. More people too? Waiting for the thermometer to rise again (Sunday or Monday), I warmed up visiting friends of the industry.

“Daytona Duel” is Uhl’s 11th painting he has created to celebrate and remember Daytona Bike Week. He told me that the visuals of “Race Of Gentlemen” was his inspiration for this new piece. His own challenge? Of course to succeed capturing movement and wind with oil paint. Nothing stiff in this race scene…

The E.J. Cole Collection is considered by many to be the finest, most diverse single collection of American-made machines. It includes 220 motorcycles collected over a period of 50 years. Among them, 2 of Cole’s personal favorites, his 1907 Harley-Davidson Strap Tank and his 1910 Flying Merkel Twin Racer, both in original and unrestored condition will be auctioned by Mecum with all others on March 20-21 at the South Point Casino and Exhibit Hall, 9777 Las Vegas Boulevard South, Las Vegas NV 89183
The 1907 Harley-Davidson Strap Tank featured here is expected to bring between $800,000 to $1 Million. Here is the story. The 3 Davidson brothers, plus William Harley, weren’t bicycle racing champs or trained engineers like their competitors in the pioneering days of motorcycling. But they knew a good idea when they saw it, and set about building a motorcycle in 1901, which they finished in 1903, a single-cylinder of 116cc. This first prototype lacked power, so they enlarged the engine size to 24.74 cu-in. (405cc) for their next model, and with a little advice from Ole Evinrude, the bike would climb hills without ‘light pedal assistance,’ establishing a pattern which served them well for the next century. Harley-Davidson is recalling 2,476 LED Bullet Turn Signal Kits manufactured between May 31, 2011 and December 16, 2014, sold for installation on 2012 and later Dynas and 2011 and later Softail models. The turn signals may not flash brightly enough to comply with federal guidelines. If the turn signals do not flash brightly enough, other drivers may fail to see that motorcycle is turning or changing lanes, increasing the risk of a crash.
Harley-Davidson will notify owners, and dealers will replace the turn signals with updated and compliant ones, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in March 2015. Owners may contact Harley-Davidson customer service at 1-800-258-2464. Harley-Davidson’s number for this recall is 0619.
Rinehart Racing®, a leading aftermarket manufacturer of high performance exhaust products for Harley-Davidson®, today announced the purchase of the company by current CEO, Judd Hollifield. With the ownership change, company founder Gerald Rinehart will retire from an active role within the company with Mr. Hollifield remaining as CEO and sole owner.
“I’ve been in the exhaust business for over 30 years and it’s time for a new chapter in my life with retirement,” says Mr. Rinehart. ”I was fortunate to bring Judd on as my partner in 2009 and help me redirect the company I founded. Judd knows my vision and I’m confident he will lead the company to even greater growth and success. Under Judd’s leadership, Rinehart Racing will stay true to my core belief of providing the best performing exhaust money can buy, just as it has since my days of building headers for winning NASCAR® teams.”
As an aftermarket VTwin exhaust manufacturer, Rinehart Racing is best known for top selling products like 4” Slip-On mufflers, Slimline™ Duals and Xtreme True Duals. Rinehart Racing also manufactures and sells aftermarket exhaust for Softail, Dyna and Sportster platforms.
“I’m committed to the legacy Gerald built, keeping our products Made in the USA, providing superior customer service to our valued dealers and customers and providing premium exhaust products for Harley riders. Throughout our close friendship and my years of working with Gerald, he has instilled in me these core values for Rinehart Racing.” states new owner and CEO Judd Hollifield. “I’m also excited about the future of the company as we are set to release several new products in the summer of 2015 and throughout the remainder of the year. Rinehart Racing, at its core, is about performance and that will never change.”
Today, Harley-Davidson Motor Company debuts “Roll Your Own,” an integrated marketing campaign that evolves the company’s efforts to break the stereotype of who rides Harley-Davidson motorcycles and how they ride them. “The new work shows there is no one way to ride a Harley,” said Dino Bernacchi, U.S. Marketing Director at Harley-Davidson. “The new creative is about each rider defining their independence and attitude, whether kicking up dirt on the track or sliding through the curves on ice.” The new campaign features a series of :60 and :30 broadcast ads, print ads, online advertising and social content. Also as part of the campaign, fans and riders are encouraged to share their “Roll Your Own” experiences across Harley-Davidson’s social channels using #RollYourOwn.
Showing the unique ways people ride a Harley-Davidson is just part of how the company celebrates rider individuality. The other unique way is how riders personalize their Harleys. This spring U.S. dealers will compete in a bike build-off battle with the Harley-Davidson® Street® 750 motorcycle being featured throughout the campaign. Bike builds will happen around the country, and in the end, one dealer will ultimately be crowned the “Custom King.” The resulting customized Street motorcycles will roll into all major Harley-Davidson promotions and among the company’s promotional partners, including UFC® and ESPN X Games.
