When you think you have seen everything, a new unusual motorcycle creation appears on my radar (pun intended), like this WW2 plane sidecar based on the German Messerschmitt fighter plane. The merit of this sidecar is the hand fabrication by Hungarian bike Builder Henrik Toth. In my opinion the disappointing part of this project is that the motorcycle used to attach the fuselage is a Yamaha Wild Star. I think it should have been a vintage BMW to respect the German theme.
Historically a manufacturer of brakes and wheels, Performance Machine has since many years a line of accessories to match all its wheel designs. But as a matter of fact these other parts look very good on any type of bikes and complement very well other types of design.

New Motorcycle TV Show. Wheelie Drag Racing At 120 Mph!

All about racing. This year, I met Rich looking for new ideas to pitch to networks and it seems (to be confirmed) that one of his (called “Wheelie Drags”) is about to be picked by the Speed Channel. What is all about? Wheelie Drag Racing at up to 120 mph. 16 participants will compete, have 200 feet to lift their motorcycle front wheel, then race on the rear wheel a full quarter mile! The risks? Huge, as you can imagine. And human nature being the way it is, I bet that audience will be huge, too. The most dangerous/insane motorcycle show ever. Due to the nature of the show and although all participants volunteer to release anyone and any company involved with the show of any legal action, I bet that the show is going to create a big controversy about the influence that this TV production may have on some type of bikers. Most Radical Custom Buell Motorcycle Of Year 2009

Most of you didn’t see it during the last Sturgis AMD World Championship Of Bike Building. So here your opportunity to look at what I consider the most radical looking Buell 1200 I have seen in a long time. You will love or hate its design, so I will not spend time describing the hand and machine fab work (except that gas & oil tanks are made out of glass) and will just mention that this Racer gets its racing stance from a short 27-degree rake and from two 23″ wheels both dressed with tires from Vee Rubber in size 120/70R23. No modification on the Buell engine but the bike use a transmission brake equipped with a Brembo caliper. The Builder is Rafik Kaissi from a shop called RK Concepts based in Austin, Texas.

2009 Mooneyes Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show

In addition to celebrities like Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top, the US was represented by custom builders Cole Foster, Roland Sands, Kutty Notebloom of Hippy Killer, and bronze sculptor Jeff Decker. Lot of burnouts, more than 600 custom motorcycles, about 250 hot rods, tons of custom parts & many tattoo artists. Feel the atmosphere.
