The collaboration end result is “Sir Lancelot” making its 1st appearance during the AMD World Championship of Bike Building held in Sturgis. War Eagle Motorcycles assisted in the 
fabrication of the trick Chassis, Billet and Sheet-Metal work which includes single side front and rear swing arms with remote air ride suspension. Ego Tripp Wheels fabricated one-off 24”x3.5” front and 21”x9” rear 3-D wheels. Accurate engineering was selected for 1 of them 104” Knuckle engines and Baker for their Torque Box 6-speed transmission. Since you can’t see it, the bike has tons of engraving by Steel Tattoos, a seat by Chapel and an airbrushed paint by Jeff Selker. Sick Bastard Choppers.

I don’t tell you how much reading, analyzing, digesting, verifying I have to do before posting a new article. I don’t complain and enjoy doing it. Except when I have to read 20 times the new regulations of our dear govertment/administration regarding the way motorcycles should be used and parts to be installed. Yep, at least 20 times to understand how you manufacturer, dealer or biker is going to be affected. Last example is the regulations proposed by CARB (California Air Resource Board) regarding an approval process for “emission related parts” such as catalytic converters”. Dennis Johnson from Dealer News forwarded to me a summary of CARB debated issues. I can’t do better writing. So, enjoy the reading, admiring our motorcycle representants defending your interests. Among the custom bikes built to celebrate S&S 50th Anniversary, at least 5 that I would have liked to build. One of them is Chopper Dave’s Secret Weapon that I am featuring here. Dave, as all custom builders, leans toward a certain style of bikes. Liquidation Of $10 Million Of American IronHorse Motorcycle Parts

American Ironhorse Motorcycles filed bankruptcy earlier this year and the manufacturing rights have been sold. Now the bankruptcy court order provides for Liquid Asset Partners to sell all the excess parts. There are many parts to fit Harleys, as well as custom bikes, plus apparel and hardware. This huge liquidation of excess motorcycle parts for V-Twins and choppers will be held at American Ironhorse Motorcycle’s factory, 4600 Blue Mound Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76106, to sell off excess parts not needed for new production. Saxon Motorcycles was chosen by the Travel Channel for their new TV Show “The World’s Greatest Rides”. The series is about riding the most scenic routes of the USA and Europe. In the first two episodes Henry Cole makes his rides through the American deserts on a Saxon Firestorm. Saxon Motorcycles presents summaries of the first shows on their website and on YouTube riding Higway No.1 (650 miles stretching from Santa Rosa to Laguna Beach in California). 40 customers, including non US clients based in New Zealand, say they paid Mid West Choppers from Illinois and its owner Chip Miyler a total of US $1.2 million for custom bikes but did not receive them before the company went bankrupt in October 2005. The indictment is also about Miyler applying for a bank loan offering as collateral motorcycles he did not own. Some customers could receive partial refund checks from the bankruptcy court.
The New 360-Brake To Replace Your Dual Setup

Wheels should be seen, not hidden. It’s the motto of the 360 Brake Company. After completing rigorous testing the company just released it’s new 6” brake offering a solution for braking big displacement bikes. The objective was to increase braking power by a minimum of 30% while keeping the brake itself at only 1” larger than the original 360 Brake. The company states that with this new brake you can replace your dual brake system with a single 6” diameter 360 Brake. Measurements and installation instructions are the same than for the 5” brake. Harley-Davidson is Recalling About 47500 2008 Motorcycles

Harley-Davidson Motor Company is recalling 2008 FLTR. FLHR, FLHP, FLHX. FLHPE, FLHRC, FLHRSE4, FLHT, FLHTC, FLHTCU, FLHTCUSE3, FLHTP models. The recall is due to a problem with the cracking of the fuel filter shell. It may creates a loss of fuel pressure which could make the motorcycle fail to start or to stall in traffic when riding, with possibility of crash and injury for the rider. Harley-Davidson dealers will replace the fuel filter shell for free. Contact a Harley dealership near you
